The business has grown significantly over the years and, whilst we are always busy, we like to think we are quite relaxed in the way we go about things and provide both a stimulating and enjoyable environment to work in.
The role
We are looking for a trainee planner to join our team. The role will include supporting the adviser and office manager in their daily activities, working with the team in the preparation of reports and recommendations and liaising with clients on the delivery of suitable advice.
You will be intricately involved in the evolution of our advisory processes, providing technical support and also improving the use of technology to further enhance our offering to clients.

Other Contractual Elements:
Annual salary – up to £28K plus benefits, depending on experience.
Pension scheme (5% of salary)

Requirements
Essential:
Working towards level 4 CII Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning
Commitment to starting level 6 qualifications
Have a good understanding of the regulatory requirements of the financial planning profession
Be able to work effectively within a team environment
Have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
You will ideally:
Have relevant experience in a regulated financial planning business and an understanding of the advisory process
Have good attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and planning skills, this includes project & time management
Excellent written and verbal communication and numeracy skills
Be innovative, creative, and proactive
Enjoy and thrive upon interaction and collaboration with others
Have knowledge of Cash Flow Software, Voyant in particular.
