We are seeking to employ a Trainee Financial Planner who will play a pivotal role in the growth of our business over the next few years.

The Company

Kingsfleet Wealth was founded in 2010 and has only added clients through organic growth, primarily by referrals from Professionals and existing clients and now manages £100 million of client assets.

Consequently, we are not an ambitious business, we believe in servicing our existing clients well and looking after our new enquiries so that others are referred to us. This ensures that our focus is on our clients and their satisfaction alone - we find that when you do that well, new business just comes along.

Our purpose is important to us and that is to use our knowledge, qualifications and experience to advise those who need our help.

The Role

We are looking for someone who will initially work alongside the Financial Planners with a view to taking on their own portfolio of clients in approximately two years.

  • Shadowing Financial Planners in meetings

  • Preparation of reports following review meetings

  • Financial Planning reports for new enquiries

  • Working with the admin and paraplanning teams to provide top-class client service

  • In time, to take on your own portfolio of clients

  • There will be no requirement to generate your own business

The Skills

You will be a competent and capable individual with a can-do attitude and the following skills:

  • You will already be making progress towards your (level 4) Diploma status or have completed it.

  • You will likely be an experienced administrator, a paraplanner or a trainee in another firm

  • You will have the ability to explain financial concepts to others in writing and verbally

  • Confident with numbers with a full attention to detail

  • Interested in people and able to converse with those from all backgrounds

  • Comfortable in asking questions in order to understand client motivation
