The role
Ovation Finance is looking for a Senior Paraplanner to join their expanding team. The role will include supporting the Ovation advisers in their daily activities, in the preparation of reports and recommendations and liaising with clients where required. You will also support the Practice Manager with various advice and compliance requirements.You will work closely with other members of the admin team to ensure cases are being completed, provide support where required and ensure a compliant file.You will be involved in the continuous development of Ovation’s advice and investment proposition. You will become a technical point of contact for both the team and clients, and you will be an integral part of Ovations Investment and Technical proposition.

Other Contractual Elements:
Annual salary - £36K-£45K plus benefits

Death in Service cover of 6 x annual salary

25 days holiday, plus statutory holidays, plus additional long-service holiday to maximum of 30 days (all based on full time employee)

Requirements
Essential:
Qualified to level 4 CII Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning
Started level 6 qualifications and are progressing towards Chartered Status
Have a good understanding of the regulations and requirements in a Financial Advice business
Be able to provide support to multiple advisers
You will ideally:
Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Financial Advice business and an understanding of the financial advice process
Have good attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and planning skills, this includes project & time management
Excellent written and verbal communication and numeracy skills
Be innovative, creative and proactive
Enjoy and thrive upon interaction and collaboration with others
Have IRESS Xplan experience (nice to have)
Have knowledge of Cash Flow Software
