We are a small well-established award-winning Lifestyle Financial Planner based in the heart of Maldon, situated on the Blackwater estuary in Essex. We provide Lifestyle Financial Planning & Wealth Management to families and business owners across East Anglia and London.

We are at a very exciting phase with our business and are now looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to work alongside the Planners and the rest of the team, assisting with all aspect of the client relationship, including attending client meetings, creating Lifestyle Financial Plans, report writing and research. Flexible home working is available for the right candidate.

About You

Candidates should be experienced within the Wealth Management/Financial Planning remit and hold the Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum, those with Advanced Diploma Qualifications will have an advantage. The organisation will provide full support to attain further qualifications and have an excellent benefits package.

What is required:

  • Level 4 Diploma Qualified

  • Ideally working towards Chartered

  • Experience with Cashflow Modelling

  • Experience using IO is preferable

Primary Responsibilities;

  • All technical aspects of preparing for client meetings.

  • Preparing and compiling financial analysis data.

  • Analysing client data and preparing cashflow.

  • Researching products to support recommendations.

  • Compiling financial planning recommendations and suitability reports.

  • Providing support for the financial planners, assist then with client presentations and any other activities as agreed.

  • Ensuring that all regulatory and compliance standards are met.

  • Ensuring that all client requirements are followed through to the appropriate conclusion.

  • Assisting the Practice Manager with annual technical reviews of services and products.
