Job Description

Pavis is a Chartered Financial Planning Firm and a CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firm, based in Liverpool. We have grown to be one of the UK’s most trusted firms and have a great reputation both within our industry and with our clients.

We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our existing team, who can use their initiative and energy to drive planning and advice forward quickly and efficiently.

Full time is preferred though we will consider part-time. Hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 with a good benefits package.

We are based in St Pauls Square in Liverpool though we do operate a hybrid policy with flexibility to work some days at home.

The Person

  • The ability to think like an Adviser

  • Highly organised, efficient and disciplined

  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent attention to detail, working both quickly and accurately

  • Ability to conduct research, analyse statistics and write great reports

  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliant files

  • Good IT skills and strong time management skills

  • Ability to work alone and as a great team player

The Role

Full training will be given on all aspects of the role, though the main duties will include:

  • Attending client meetings when required, taking responsibility for meeting notes and post meeting action. Some cashflow presenting.

  • Preparing Recommendations – research & planning, identifying suitable solutions and preparing Suitability reports. Includes preparing new business documentation and submissions.

  • Preparing and maintaining client files, ensure compliance requirements are met, as well as following internal processes.

  • Assisting Advisers at review meetings, preparation for reviews and post review actions and annual suitability.
