Job Description
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Paraplanner based in Kirkcaldy. The successful candidate will earn £30,000-£40,000 depending upon experience. End of business year (August) and discretionary Christmas Bonus depending upon company performance.
This is an office based position, although, flexible working can be arranged.

Role Requirements
A team player who shares our values
Qualified or part qualified (completed or studying for Level 4 Diploma or similar)
Previous experience in financial services / IFA practice would be advantageous
Strong analytical mind and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Awareness of FCA regulations and compliance obligations
Experience in regulated products (including platforms) and their application
Previous experience of client management systems (Intelligent Office would be beneficial) and other adviser support tools (e.g. risk profiling, cashflow planning, research tools).
Role Responsibilities
Ensure allocated work activity is completed to a satisfactory standard (i.e. accurate, timely, compliant)
Maintain a clear understanding of the approved advice process and ensure that procedures are followed and complied with at all times.
Provide appropriate research and analysis on pre-advisory cases
Meet with advisers and discuss possible solutions on pre advisory cases
Prepare draft suitability reports, client reviews and general client communication letters and ensure that these are presented for review with correct and full supporting documentation
Ensure that the strategy/advice folder is uploaded onto I/O.
Complete required training and maintain appropriate CPD records.
