We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable Operations Manager to take the reins of day-to-day operations, help drive strategic growth, and embed values like transparency, community, and sustainability into every aspect of how we work. You’ll work closely with the Director and lead a passionate team in a certified B Corp, where your voice is heard and your leadership makes a real difference.


Your Role as Operations Manager


You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring smooth, efficient, and aligned business operations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, giving you scope to enhance systems, empower people, and shape sustainable growth.


Here’s what your week might look like:


Monday: Align with the team on priorities and review KPIs to flag up urgent issues

Tuesday: Focus on strategic planning and process improvements

Wednesday: Conduct one-to-one check-ins and manage recruitment, onboarding, or training

Thursday: Coordinate marketing logistics and conduct compliance and risk reviews

Friday: Review financials, report to the Director, and wrap up the week


Key Responsibilities


  • Leadership & Team Support: Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing culture

  • Process Optimisation: Implement and refine systems that enhance productivity

  • Strategic Planning: Translate goals into actionable, measurable plans

  • People Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development processes

  • Client Experience: Help enhance the quality and consistency of our service

  • Technology & Efficiency: Identify and implement tools that improve operations

  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets and align spending with strategic priorities

  • Risk & Compliance: Monitor risks and ensure regulatory obligations are met

  • Marketing Campaign Support: Coordinate resources and logistics for marketing campaigns.

What We Offer:


Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependent upon knowledge and experience.


Benefits: Flexible working hours, full-time position with the option to work longer days over fewer days, 5% employer pension contribution, death in service benefits, Vitality health, Christmas shut down period, volunteering opportunities, study and qualification support, on-site car parking.
