Milne Craig have an exciting opportunity for an IFA Support Administrator. Based in Paisley, we are a leading Wealth Management and Accountancy firm. The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years’ experience in an IFA environment and have excellent working knowledge of a full range of Financial Products.

Role

You will need to be able to work as part of a team to enable the Advisers to maintain a portfolio of high net worth clients through liaising with policy providers, obtaining policy illustrations, processing new business applications and tracking to completion, inputting transaction details on Intelligent Office, preparing client valuations, maintenance of database and income/fees system.


Job Requirements


  • Ensure the back office system is maintained with current client personal details and compliance information

  • Liaise with product providers regarding policy details, obtain illustrations for new requests and dealing with any existing policy queries

  • Compile supporting paperwork for the suitability reports

  • Prepare letters to clients to issue policy documents, general updates and requesting information. Prepare draft review letters.

  • Ensure new business applications are processed and tracked to completion, recording details of all transactions on computer records (Intelligent Office) accurately and timeously

  • Produce client valuations accurately and timeously

  • Dealing with alterations to existing plans, including fund switches online, changes to withdrawals, changes to death benefits nominations, online instructions for purchases/sales

  • Requesting retirement illustrations, new business illustrations etc and collating information for presentation to IFA

  • Assisting with auto enrolment work where required

  • Running diary system to ensure return of documents and work completed

  • Running review system to ensure client annual reviews are managed

  • Reviewing client fee basis and determining charging structures if changes required

  • Running mailshots and using reports on Intelligent Office

  • Assist in general office administration, scanning and savings documents to record storage
