Job Role


Experienced Financial Planning Paraplanner/Senior Administrator or a Trainee Paraplanner/Senior Administrator required for a busy, successful Independent Financial Advisers practice in Bridport, Dorset.

Reporting to the Director, the main purpose of this role is to:

Help manage the client journey from start to finish in a timely and compliant manner, showing understanding and compassion towards the client at all stages of the processes.

  • Process, submit and record all business, ensuring all appropriate systems are kept up to date.

  • Help the advisers prepare for client meetings as required ensuring all necessary documentation is available to them and recorded appropriately.

  • Research and information gathering to assist the advisers with their work.

  • Prepare compliant suitability reports.

  • Report accurate and timely information back to the advisers, clients, providers, and the business as appropriate.

  • Work alongside the back-office team to ensure recommendations are implemented effectively and compliantly.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2-3 years of experience gained working as a support administrator within a financial planning environment. Consideration will be given to exceptional applicants with slightly less time spent in the industry.

  • Hardworking, organised, methodical and dedicated.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.

  • Analytical and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Good IT knowledge, particularly in Word and Excel and industry back-office systems.

  • Able to work unsupervised, often to deadlines so excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload key.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to help other team members.


What’s on Offer


This role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in a paraplanning role and is looking to develop this skill further. The role is full-time based in Bridport, Dorset and whilst we enjoy being office based, we will consider some hybrid/remote working for the right person.

Starting salary is negotiable and dependent on current qualifications and work experience related to the role. The range is between £25,000 and £40,000. Plus:
