Job Description
Hamish Leng & Co Ltd is a long-standing, financial planning firm based in Knightsbridge, London. We work with a number of interesting individuals and families to enable them to live happy and fulfilling lives.
You will work alongside our Planners and Assistant Planners to help implement the financial plans as agreed with the clients and provide exceptional quality technical and general administrative support. You will get to know the clients and be fully involved in the work that we do for them.
Key Tasks
Dealing with clients: arranging meetings, answering telephone, and greeting visitors
Assisting with preparation of annual review documents, including preparing and sending out agreements and invoices
Attending client meetings (1 per month) to take notes and update client review documents (optional)
Maintaining client files and client information on IO
Preparing investment instruction sheets and placing deals on our investment platforms
Processing new business applications, LOAs and provider forms and paperwork
Supporting the Planners and Assistant Planners to ensure processes are being followed
Helping prepare key annual reports (tax packs, fees and charges summaries)
Requirements
At least 5 years experience in an IFA/financial planner administrator role
Excellent team player
Great communicator (verbally and in writing) with excellent spelling and grammar
Expert in IO processes and reporting
Experience of buying and selling investments on a platform
Confident with working to deadlines and collaborating with other team members
On offer
Dependent on experience. Possible discretionary bonus.
Employer pension contribution of 10% pa (on condition that employee contribution is 5% pa).

PHI cover of 50% salary after deferred period of 13 weeks
Holiday of 25 days excluding Bank Holidays increasing to 30 days after 10 years service. 3 to be taken at Christmas time.
