Individuals In The Role Of Client Manager Are Expected To
set the standard for exemplary client service;
support Client Partners in delivering high quality paraplanning and administrative support;
act as a line of defence ensure high compliance standards supporting suitability;
act as mentor to Client Service associates and trainee client managers.
support the Head of Wealth Planning to continually improve our technical standards;
support the Chief Operations Officer to continually improve our processes
lead office and group project initiatives.
The role is for someone who is self-motivated, well organised and pro-active in managing competing priorities to ensure that clients receive the high quality service they deserve and Artorius expects.
Purpose Of The Role
Individuals appointed to the role are required to provide excellence in service to and make a significant contribution in the delivery of quality advice to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. This is to be achieved by providing proactive and efficient support to Clients and Client Partners, ensuring client service excellence.
The Client Manager role is key to the business providing full administration support to Client Partners and directly to Clients, ensuring that all business is accurately processed expediently to high service standards. Furthermore, Client Managers will support Client Partners in the provision of ‘paraplanning’ i.e. collating fact find information, profiling, recommendation, delivery and ongoing service phases of our advice process. This role combines administration and paraplanning. This is intentional to reduce client ‘hand offs’ to give the Client Manager ownership for the client and case work. A Client Manager will have sufficient technical expertise to understand client affairs, avoid the situation where a small administrative item is missed that could have a significant impact on the client’s affairs and drive the quality advice.
Client Managers should become the trusted ‘first port of call’ for the Client and their advisers on a day to day basis.
Role Definition
Delivering excellence for clients at all times
Total focus on optimal outcomes for clients; precisely and timely process instructions, new business and transactions from submission to completion.
Ensuring client service level expectations are delivered, including taking action where required.
Working in a structured way and supporting Client Partners in providing them structure (and as such reassurance).
Proactively obtaining, collating and reviewing information/quotations required. Support and assisting Client Partners and assist the Head of Wealth Planning in researching the client’s needs and developing appropriate recommendations.
Proactively completing research and analysis of the client case and of the market of solutions.
Drafting high quality advice suitability recommendations.
Proactively co-ordinating parties, both internal and external, to ensure they are aligned in delivering for the client. This includes keeping all stakeholders informed and updated.
Retaining clients with Artorius through delivering excellence
Ensuring data in systems relating to client and case work is accurate and updated.

Ensuring we are viewed by our Clients with esteem and high regard.
Building and maintaining the professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties including; private banks, provisional advisers, product providers and introducers to contribute to building a highly positive Artorius reputation.

Technical Excellence And Innovation
Good knowledge of HNW and Ultra HNW clients and their families and trusts.
Strong practical knowledge of private banking and platform/custodian arrangements.
Strong financial planning understanding of markets, relevant jurisdictional taxation, asset classes, product wrappers and tax structures. [Should be or be working to level 4 diploma level qualification with an aspiration to be level 6 qualified and chartered].
Excellent paraplanning capability; researching and drafting suitability.
Excellent administrative skills, with an eye for detail ensuring a high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
Strong communication.

Good task management and basic project skills to provide strong coordination.

Acting Compliantly And Managing The Firm's Risk
Ensuring records are maintained and business is processed in a compliant manner as detailed in the firm’s compliance and operations manuals and procedures.
Maintaining strong fully documented client files and records; ensuring strong documentary evidence is in place to support that recommendation.
Acting as a line of defence to the Client Partners, supporting them, but also supporting management and compliance in ensuring quality and compliant advice is delivered. Providing the appropriate level of query and challenge, and escalating concerns where necessary, to the quality of advice and files to Client Partners.
Proactively inputting how/what we do (processes, systems and procedures) can be improved.
Comply with the relevant procedures (compliance, TCF, T&C, financial crime anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption, advice process) of the firm at all times.
Comply at all times with Cross Border restrictions and pass porting requirements applicable to relevant jurisdictions.
