The role

The role of the Client Administrator is to provide a safe pair of hands that gets day to day client stuff done. You will work in a ‘pod’ alongside a Chartered Financial Planner, looking after a select number of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships with clients, arranging meetings and managing Planner diaries

  • Recording, updating and managing all client details in our internal systems

  • Helping onboard new clients – e.g. book meetings, prepare presentations and documents, gather policy information, liaise with providers, submit application forms, keep clients updated etc

  • Help prepare existing client review meetings – e.g. assisting in the production of relevant paperwork such as valuations, reports, illustrations, letters, application forms, spreadsheets, presentations and other documents as required by the team

  • Help the Planner with the smooth running of technical functions within the business

  • Meeting and greeting clients

  • Assisting clients with non-advice/non-technical queries

  • General administration – such as filing, scanning documents, updating spreadsheets, typing, allocating and actioning post, answering the telephone as required and any reasonable additional duties as required.

Your qualifications

  • R01 - Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics

  • Plus 2 other R0 units

  • 3+ years’ experience in an IFA Firm

Required skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Good knowledge of Intelligent Office

  • Confident working with Wrap Platforms

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)

  • Confident with technology

  • Self-motivated, a self-starter and hard working

  • Adaptable and receptive to feedback

  • Eagerness to get involved with other tasks where necessary

  • A good team player


  • Up to £33,000.00 depending on experience and qualifications

  • Annual bonus of up to 10%
