We help our clients, and their families make the most of their hard-earned wealth and give them peace of mind for financial security in their future. The role will involve sitting in client meetings, preparing review packs, helping clients to understand the complex terminology surrounding financial services. You will also help to support the growth of the business on your own journey to becoming an Adviser. We are looking to add more client support into the team.
Duties and responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Shadowing Financial Planners in meetings
Preparation of reports following review meetings
Financial Planning reports for new enquiries
Working with the admin and paraplanning teams to provide top-class client service
In time, to take on your own portfolio of clients

What does the successful candidate look like?
You will already be making progress towards your (level 4) Diploma status or have completed it.
You will have experience within the Financial Services and working within a Financial Planning Firm. You will likely be an experienced administrator, a paraplanner or trainee in another firm.
You will have the ability to explain financial concepts to others in writing and verbally.
Confident with numbers with a full attention to detail.
Interested in people and able to converse with those from all backgrounds.
Comfortable in asking questions to understand client motivation.
Experience of writing suitability reports.
You will be compassionate, empathetic, and supportive of clients. A key part of the role is building great relationships with our client families which also involves supporting them through challenging life events.
Essential
The right to work in the UK
Competent with Microsoft Office programmes
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Commenced study towards Diploma Level Financial Planning qualifications

Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £29,000 – £35,000 depending on experience. Working Hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday with a mix of office and home-based working.
Other benefits include:
23 days Holiday Entitlement plus bank holidays and public holidays.
You will be entitled to a John Joseph Financial Services workplace pension.
Professional Development – You will have one day per quarter to dedicate to your own professional development.
At the companies discretion they will cover the costs of material and examinations to attain the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the CII/PersonalFinancial Society.
