We help our clients, and their families make the most of their hard-earned wealth and give them peace of mind for financial security in their future. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support in all aspects of day-to-day running of the business.
Duties and responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Create and maintain accurate client records on back office systems, platforms and any other IT systems e.g. cashflow & risk profiler
Prepare client documentation and correspondence pre and post meetings as per business processes
Check accuracy and completeness of new business documentation
Ensure that all business applications are processed accurately and efficiently, in a compliant manner, to the firm’s standards
Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained as per company procedures
Record and reconcile fees
Ensure all work is followed up promptly in line with company standards
Liaise with product providers to ensure timely and accurate responses to clients (progress chasing)
Send Letters of Authority and gather accurate information
Obtain illustrations and application forms
Production of portfolio valuations
Ensure fund switches / rebalances / top ups / withdrawals are carried out accurately and within company timescales
Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries
Ensure action points resulting from client meetings get diarised and dealt with
Prepare client review documentation as per the Annual Review Process
Support FPs in delivery of reviews, if needed
Assist in implementation of agreed action points
Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
Ensure back-office systems are kept up-to-date
Open, scan, log and allocate incoming post
Other duties as directed by management

What does the successful candidate look like?
You will be highly organised, methodical, and disciplined.
You will have at least 3 years experience as an Administrator working within a Financial Planning Firm.
You will have the ability to explain financial concepts to others in writing and verbally.
Confident with numbers with a full attention to detail.
You will be looking to join a small, close-knit team where you plan to build your career and grow with us.
The right to work in the UK
Competent with Microsoft Office programmes
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Commenced study towards Diploma Level Financial Planning qualifications

Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £20,000 – £26,000 depending on experience. Working Hours 4/5 hours per day Monday to Friday.
Other benefits include:
23 days Holiday Entitlement plus bank holidays and public holidays.

Professional Development – You will have one day per quarter to dedicate to your own professional development.
At the companies discretion they will cover the costs of material and examinations to attain the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the CII/Personal Financial Society.
